Campus Engagement

Born from Stanford's Long Range Planning process, the Campus Engagement effort is a vital part of the university's work to "Strengthen Communities on Campus and Beyond." Through collaborations, projects, and programs that pique interest and create excitement, we foster opportunities to connect people, place, and institution and increase the sense of community on campus and the vision of the university as a common project created by its people.

A university is, first and foremost, its people. The work of the university – discovery, understanding, interpretation, learning – depends on a lively, engaged, interconnected, inclusive community.
